I’ve switched encryption off to check it’s nothing to do with that and rebooted dual boot into Windows on the same laptop to check it’s not hardware. Having a problem logging in? Okay, I have double checked, but after the kernel finishes booting, loading all modules, and I login as “root”, I did an “lsmod” to list all modules that are loaded and here is the full list:. Hey dm, where did you get that firmware?

From the looks of this, all sorts of people are having this problem. Are you new to LinuxQuestions. Last edited by phsythax; at Wireshark in promiscuous mode. You can use this driver with every distro since you build your own kernel.

Here is the part that got cutoff:. I did get a copy of the ARM as advised above but using this the card failed to initialise at all.
It must have been some character limit. This card has worked wg511 configuration on Dapper,Edgy and Feisty until updated 17th March OK, this is bizarre.
